HEELS, I mean! Haha.
Over the past few years, I have developed this inclination towards nude-colored heels. There’s something about wearing nude heels that make your outfit different than any other pair of shoes. For some reason I feel like they make you appear more elegant and laid-back at the same time. The skin-tone colors enhance your own natural skin tone. So if you’re wearing a deep blue dress, adding some nude footwear would just make your skin glow.. instead of wearing some glamorous heels that would be taking attention away from your figure and outfit. Just take a look at Blake Lively (Gossip Girl fans anyone?) modeling the nude heels trend.
And let’s not forget, they also make your legs look longer! Not in the “oh that girl is wearing heels, which is why she’s tall” way but in the “hm, her legs look longer and sleeker than usual today, I wonder why… oh she has heels on!” way. This is definitely a plus for me, standing at 5’3″.. let’s just say my legs are pretty short.
I think that wearing nude colored shoes is a more contemporary type of style and very chic indeed. If you’re still unconvinced, check out some of the nice styles that I have found below.
Here we have nude gladiators, for those girls that love the Roman style. Blake Lively fans can find the less expensive version of the Louboutins she wore above. And then for those still not ready for a fully nude shoe can try out LAMB’s aptly detailed nude T-strap.
